When we started out looking for a home we never thought we would build. After spending time looking at existing homes in various neighborhoods we really felt the only way for us to get everything we really wanted (yes, we are VERY picky!) was to design our own home. We started meeting with builders and looking at communities and couldn't be happier with our final decision.
During the first week of January we will be heading to the design center and making the final decisions on EVERYTHING that will be going into our home. This will be my favorite part- picking out flooring, cabinet colors, counters, appliances., etc! A few weeks after that, construction will start. I'm just so excited for this entire process and can't wait when we finally have a home to call our very own! :)
